How much does artificial turf cost in the Austin area?
Our installed prices are $11.75/sq ft (Family Play), $12.50/sq ft (Pet Pro) and $13.75/sq ft (Cool-Touch Premium), with an $8,000 flat Backyard Package up to 640 sq ft. An 800 sq ft Pet Pro backyard is $10,000 installed, including removal, base, sprinklers and HOA paperwork.
Is it really done in one day?
Yes for most yards up to about 1,200 sq ft with normal access. If we don't finish a one-day job the day we start, you get $500 off. Larger yards are quoted as two days.
Do I need HOA approval?
Most HOAs in Leander, Cedar Park and Liberty Hill require architectural approval before installing turf, and a few restrict it. We check your HOA by address, prepare the request within 24 hours, and if your HOA denies it, you owe $0.
Do I need a city permit?
Inside Georgetown city limits, yes: Georgetown requires a Residential Artificial Turf Permit, and we file it for you. Other cities treat turf differently, especially around impervious cover and drainage easements, so we check your city and plat by address before quoting. See your city's page.
What happens to my sprinklers?
A TCEQ-licensed irrigator caps the heads under the new turf. Zones that water beds and trees keep working, or we can convert them to drip for $450.
Is turf safe for dogs?
Pet Pro has a fully permeable backing and odor-control infill so urine drains through instead of pooling. If pet odor comes back in the first year, we fix it free.
Does turf get hot?
All artificial turf gets hot in direct Texas afternoon sun. Cool-Touch Premium runs cooler than standard turf, and a quick rinse cools any turf down fast. Shade from trees or a sail helps the most.
Will it drain when it rains?
Yes. We grade a compacted crushed-granite base to drain away from the house, and our turf backing is perforated or fully permeable. No puddles in year one, or we fix it free.
When do I pay?
Nothing is due until the yard is installed and you sign off. Pay at the walkthrough by card or bank, or the lender pays us if you chose monthly payments. The price is the same either way.
Can I cancel?
Yes. Texas law gives you 3 business days after signing to cancel a home-solicitation sale, and if your HOA denies the project, the contract is void.
How long does turf last?
Quality turf typically lasts 15 years or more. Our turf carries a 15-year manufacturer warranty and our labor carries a 5-year warranty, both transferable to the next owner.
Do you install putting greens or commercial turf?
Not at launch. We focus on residential backyard turf so we can do one-day installs well.
