How much does pet turf cost?
Pet turf installed by Austin Turf Co. costs $12.50 per sq ft, so an 800 sq ft backyard is $10,000 and yards up to 640 sq ft are an $8,000 flat Backyard Package. That includes removal, base, sprinkler capping, odor-control infill and HOA paperwork. Extra odor-control infill for multi-dog homes is $350.

What makes turf pet-friendly
Pet turf uses a fully permeable or heavily perforated backing so urine drains straight through instead of sitting on the backing, plus an odor-control infill. A compacted crushed-granite base graded away from the house carries it off.
Keeping it fresh
Pick up solids daily and hose down the main potty area weekly in summer. Homes with two or more dogs often add our extra odor-control infill ($350). If pet odor comes back in the first year, we fix it free.
