Block House Creek: artificial turf rules

Block House Creek requires prior written Architectural Review Committee approval for any improvement. Its deed restrictions require front yards to be fully sodded with natural grass, so we only quote backyard turf there. Submit the ARC form with a plot plan; if the committee doesn't respond within 30 days of a complete submission, the declaration treats it as approved.

The rule

Deed restriction 4.12 requires front yards to be fully sodded with St. Augustine, Bermuda, buffalo or committee-approved sod. Rear yards aren't addressed. Prior written ARC approval is required for any improvement.

Approval process

Block House Creek ARC form with a plot plan, submitted to the management company.

Typical turnaround

If the committee doesn't act within 30 days after complete information, the request is deemed approved under the declaration.
