Travisso: artificial turf rules
Travisso requires an approved Home Modification application before landscaping changes, including turf. Applications go through the CCMC homeowner portal with a lot survey, and the Architectural Review Committee meets on the 1st and 3rd Tuesdays, emailing decisions within 3 business days. The public documents we reviewed don't address artificial turf.
The rule
Travisso lists landscaping as a minor improvement that needs a Home Modification application. The Master Covenant, Development Area Declaration and Community Manual we reviewed don't mention artificial or synthetic turf. The community's Design Guidelines aren't posted publicly; we request them before quoting, and if they prohibit turf we'll tell you before you sign.
Approval process
Online Home Modification Request through the CCMC portal with your lot survey. A refundable deposit applies only to major projects.
Typical turnaround
The ARC meets the 1st and 3rd Tuesdays; submit by noon the Wednesday before. Decisions are emailed within 3 business days after the meeting, typically 1 to 4 weeks overall.
